I decided that I was not going to take part in the
technology fast as I could not see that there was any obvious benefit to it. Although
the fact that it took place on a Friday and Saturday meant that I did not need
to view my e-mails and I unintentionally fasted from using the internet as I
was busy with work. I did however use my mobile phone as I use it every day and
I was unwilling to go without using it for two days and I also need to use my
mobile phone for work for ordering etc.
I think that nowadays it is virtually impossible for
business to function without the use of technology. Obviously business took
place before the existence of the technologies we now have at our disposal
however, since there is such reliance on it nowadays it would be very hard for
a company to function any way efficiently without the use of modern technology.
